Pauline & Helen didn’t bowl tonight because they had to go to church - mission week. Rhea bowled in their place. Louise, Rhea and I went to Zimmerman’s then Louise brought us home.

Wednesday
Sorted labels today at the office. Ironed my dresses. Gave Shannons one of my “class” pictures tonight. Orderd from Harriet. Got an invitation from Louise for a St. Patrick’s day party to be on 20th of this month.

Tuesday

We got a new mimeograph maching today at the office.  Rained very hard & wet.  Louise, Rhe and I went to the new O’Neil’s tonight.  It sure is some place.  Father took Mother down in car so she could see the windows.  This is just the kind of place Akron needs.

Sunday

Didn’t go to Sunday School.  Mother made some lovely apricot pie.  Deinengers here this evening.  Dorothy and & went to hear the ‘Jazz Singer’ with Al Jolson.  Very Good, much feeling in his voice and the show follows the story to a “t”‘

Got to work at 8:05 this A.M.

Met Dorothy in O’Neil’s, we went to Candyland to eat.  I went up to her office and bummed around till almost 3:00 o’clock.  Met Lenore’s “Rogers”.

Went to Allen with Roy, show was ‘The Big City’, Lon Chaney, Betty Compson, Marcelling Dey, James Murray.

Worked till after 6: tonight. Roy met me coming from the office and brought me home.  Pressed my clothes, etc.  Deinengers here.

We bowled at 8:30 tonight, the Whelton Drugs.  Jim Moffitt brot [sic] his wife down.  Dippy Fichtner there too.  Jim treated us al land took us home. Mary didn’t feel like bowling.

Pauline, Louise & I went to Candyland and had soemthing to eat and then went to Keith’s: Lois Moran, George O’Brian ‘ Sharp Shooters’, the mad magician act, elephant act.  All good.

Tuesday

Took my lunch for a change.  Paulie (127), Louise (124) and I (103) went up to Recreation Alleys and bowled a game at noon.  We girls are going to take swimming lessons ‘as per’ my suggestion.  Viola here tonight.  Harriet B. here, Rhea, Viola, Dorothy & Harreit played bridge and I washed dishes.
