Rhea and I went to Strand after work. ‘The Student Prince’ – Ramon Navarro & Norma Shearer. Very good byt also sad at end.

Rhea & I went to hear Rose Ponselle dramatic soprano. Wonderfule, she was very sweet, wore an old fashined dress & acted the part. Every-one liked her. My favorites: “The Wind” oooooooooooooooooo, “Lullaby”, “He Loves Me Not” and a German folk song

Monday
Hung up clothes for Mother today. Dorothy went to ‘The Student Prince’ after work.

Sunday
We all got up early. Mother got breakfast and we went to Sunday School. Made beds, put up ‘lines’ in our closet and straigntened it up. Sure looks swell now.
had dinner about 3:00. Washed dishes and read. Aunt Mary, Aunt Anna, Uncle Jim, Deinenger’s here. went to Keith’s tonight with Roy. Bebe Daniels – ‘Feel my Pulse’ als good vaudeville. Deinengers stayed and played cards after Aunt Mary & Kohler’s left.

Saturday
Finished up the ‘label business’ today. Got home about 1:30. Got lunch, mended hose, ironed a few silks then went to bed. Napped till 4:00. Did not go out tonight. Dorothy & Rhea went to ‘All Aboard’. Elaine J. came over, we played the piano and fussed around. I took her home aorund 10:00. Came home and finished my tan Rauchnero dress.

Friday
We girls: Pauline, Louise, Ceil, Mary & I went to Food Show this noon. met Mr Bickford there and he took us around to the different ‘booths’, got us a “Love Nest” and gave each of us a bottle of Bickford’s Vanilla – (I dropped mine & broke it so Pauline gave me hers) Went to new library with Rhea tonight, Mary Giddings here a while. Washed dishes.

Thursday
Very busy at the office today. Patching up labels for imprinting. Jim M. brought me home. Bowled tonight at 8:00 had a good time as usual, except that H & P.F. seem to be a little on the outs with each other. Went to ‘Center of World’.

Stayed home tonight and ironed. Went to bed around 12:30

Tuesday
Mother got breakfast, and packed my lunch. Got myself a pair of zippers at Kottkes for 2.95 (4.00 value). Used 6 hdkfs at work. Stayed home, got my ‘books’ up to date.

Monday
Deinenger’s here. Fixed a little more on ‘my’ Rauchnerio crepe dress. Rhe & Dorothy; Harried B. & Clarence D played bridge. Clarence took Aunt Clara home. Rhea, Clarence & I played bridge later. Had a hot lemonade & whiskey and went to bed.
